Remember the days when your shiny new iPhone came with a fresh pair of headphones? Those days are over in the case of the iPhone X. If you want a pair of Apple headphones to go with your new iPhone, you are going to have to cough up some extra cash.

3. Fast Charging Costs Extra
While many are exciting for this new feature on the iPhone X, there is a catch; the fast charging feature requires a charger upgrade that will run you an additional $65. That said, the fast charging feature has been tested and said to be well worth the additional fee.

4. No More Home Button
The iPhone X has no home button at all, which is a big change for iPhone users who have been using this design for years, and an even bigger change for android users who even if there was no physical home button, there was a virtual one. It’s a lot to get used to.

5. No More Touch ID
The iPhone X has gotten rid of the touch id and replaced it with a new face id feature which utilizes the camera to recognize your face and unlock your phone. While this feature sounds good in theory, but after just one generation of using the touch id, it’s safe to say that it is a great feature. It allows the user to seamlessly unlock their phone and make purchases just using their finger print. On the other hand, not only does the face id take more steps to unlock the phone, it also takes longer than touch id does.

6. The Price
The price tag on the iPhone X is $999. This is before tax, which can be anywhere fomr $60 to $100, a $65 dollar fast charger and $200 for Apple Care, which is a must for a phone that is this expensive. Someone looking to purchase this phone is looking at a purchase topping out at around $1400.

7. More Fragile
The iPhone X features a glass back, unlike it’s predecessor which has an aluminum back. This makes the phone more fragile, which isn’t the best case scenario for a $1000 phone.
